What would perfectly compliment a sensational Caesar? Why, a totally boss brunch, of course! In honour of National Caesar Day, Sleepenvie's curated the ultimate list of the best brunch spots Toronto has to offer. Celebrate with the cocktail of the day and an exceptional brunch from one of our six favourite spots around the city. Cheers!

Toca

While it is an investment at $89 per plate, it’s the best all-you-can-eat buffet in the biz with gourmet versions all of the staples like eggs benny, pancakes and bacon and eggs in addition to all the fancy extras including a carving station, a selection of fresh baked goods that you can smell from the door and a seafood station overflowing with fresh Canadian lobster tail, snow crab legs, oysters and more. Be sure to save room for a sampling of cheese from their famous cheese cave. Perfect for a special occasion, there is something for everyone on this menu. Toca is located inside The Ritz-Carlton, 181 Wellington St. West, Toronto, Ontario. Brunch buffet available Sundays. Caesars $18.

Lady Marmalade

Taking BYOB to a whole new level, you can Build Your Own Benny at Lady Marmalade. Here, the Caesars are virgin, but, for some, customizing this fabulous dish is all the excitement one can handle before coffee. My personal favourite benny combo is: avocado, brie and ham but the choices don’t stop there, find your own winning combo at 898 Queen Street East, Toronto, Ontario and sample for yourself. Serving breakfast and brunch Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM, Sat 8AM-3PM and Sun 8AM-3PM. Virgin Caesar $4.

Beast

Welcome to hangover heaven--this menu is all about soaking up what’s done ya wrong. They’ve put their own spin on some brunch classics with their duck confit pancakes and breakfast ‘BEASTWICH’ sandwich on a house-made buttermilk biscuit with a fried egg, fried chicken thigh, pimento cheese and pork sausage gravy. You may be ready to go back to bed after you finish, but you will definitely feel better leaving then you did coming in. Visit The Beast Restaurant at 96 Tecumseth St., Toronto, Ontario. Brunch is served 10AM-3PM Wednesday through Sunday. Caesar $12.

Glory Hole Doughnut Shop

Have some sweet with your savoury and pick up some artisanal doughnuts from Glory Hole Doughnut Shop. This is a great grab-and-go treat if you’re celebrating National Caesar Day at home or at a friends. Show up with a selection of delicious doughnuts; I highly recommend trying their birthday cake doughnut--you can’t go wrong with sprinkles! They debut a new creation every Sunday and change their menu seasonally. Order online or pop-in yourself to 1596 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario. Open daily Mon-Fri 9AM-6PM and Sat-Sun 10AM-5PM. Caesars, endless possibilities from your bar at home.

Old School

Old School’s brunch offerings are decedent through and through. Take all of the standard brunch items and infuse them with a stroke of genius...and cheese, lol. If their Bad Apple French Toast isn’t already on your brunch bucket list, I highly recommend that you add it along with their Bennie and the Jets pulled pork eggs benny and their famous Return of the Mack’N Cheese that is absolutely to die for and served on a hot skillet. Explore the menu yourself at 800 Dundas St West, Toronto, Ontario. Brunch is served daily Mon-Tues 9AM-3PM and Wed-Sun 9AM-4PM. Caesar $9.

Café Cancan

If it’s an Insta-worthy experience you’re after, Café Cancan is a must! Their French inspiration comes shining through in decor and menu. You have a choice of many amazing entrées including fried duck eggs, smoked salmon crêpes and a lovely truffle scramble, or you can opt for one of their three prix fixe selections ranging from $29-$149 per person. Delight your senses at 89 Harbord Street, Toronto, Ontario. Brunch is served Sat and Sun 10AM-3PM. Caesar $10.
